I enjoy the guitar gymnastics of Eddie Van Halen and Steve Vai as much as I enjoy Edgar Meyer’s genre-melding double bass playing. Pat Metheny’s compositions inspire me, as do John Patitucci’s. I hope that comes across in my music.
