F Boy Tony’s musical journey began at a young age. At 15, he joined a musical theatre group and by 16, he was writing his own songs and performing at youth club events and talent shows around London. His initial foray into the arts also included a stint in art and design, but music ultimately captured his heart. Tony’s diverse influences, including Kano, Leon Bridges, The 1975, and Gyptian, have helped shape his distinctive sound.
Tony’s music is deeply personal, often drawing from his own experiences. The loss of a close loved one led to a period of depression and anxiety, driving him further into his music. Working part-time as a security operative allowed him to meet various musicians, further fueling his passion for music.
