Ranzel X Kendrick is back with “Tribute,” the newest single from his high-energy side-project Alias Wayne. The singer-songwriter The track combines a smooth-jazz sensibility with warm soft-rock instrumentation, gliding easily into yacht-rock territory. Kendrick learned his craft at an early age growing up in a Texas ranching family, under the tutelage of multi-Grammy winner and Country Western legend “Uncle” Roger Miller. Kendrick has an extensive discography that includes his lauded Texas Series trilogy, and he channels timeless arranging skills and laid-back grooves into an irresistible, sun-drenched listening experience.
