Romanian heavy-hitters HVNDS have officially released their third full-length record, Control, via Radikal Records. The record dives into dark themes of guilt and human nature, mixing modern metalcore riffs, nu-metal grooves and industrial electronics. Upon release, Control shot to #1 on Apple Music Romania’s Metal and Rock charts (and cracked the Top 10 across all genres), while lead single “Earthquake” topped the ‘Best New Songs’ chart. HVNDS prove they’re ready for the big time, drawing comparisons to Bring Me The Horizon, Linkin Park and Enter Shikari, with explosive hooks, soaring synths and even surprising genre fusions such as liquid dnb and bombastic salsa.
Chart Success, Massive Festival Stages, and Live Tour
Topping the charts with their previous two rock albums (2022’s Animal and 2023’s Sintetic), HVNDS continues to command the airwaves and giant festival lineups, joining the likes of Twenty One Pilots and Travis Scott on stages such as Electric Castle and Untold. Control features standouts like “Baba Yaga”, “Blood” and the radio hit “DOR”. Control is the raw, electrifying energy of their sold out live shows. The band have kicked off a 10-date headline tour in support of the album, which will lead into a wider run across Europe and their ESNS showcase.
