Everything about the creation of ‘Silent Night vs Santa Claus Is Coming To Town’ has been so much fun. Working in those legendary London studios – RAK, Angel, Abbey Road – has been a fantastic experience. The producer Richard Flack has done an amazing job helping me bring this dream to life. I am fortunate to have Guy Chambers, who has made some wonderful records with Robbie Williams, as part of the Trickster team.
I am incredibly proud of the video we made for the song at Pinewood Studios, the home of James Bond no less! We had the privilege of working with some of the best dancers and musicians in the world. Their energy brought a real New Orleans-style Christmas party to life. It was a joyous celebration that I hope will resonate with people all around the globe.
In these difficult times, my aim for this Christmas is simple – to make a miracle happen! I want people to feel and see the positive energy that I packed into this production. I want them to smile, dance, and be kind to each other. Through the release of ‘Silent Night vs Santa Claus Is Coming To Town’, I believe we can achieve this.
The choice of combining “Silent Night” and “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” was intentional. These two beloved Christmas songs have their own unique qualities, and when blended together, they create a magical fusion. It’s a harmonious juxtaposition of the traditional and the contemporary, bringing together the nostalgia of “Silent Night” with the upbeat cheerfulness of “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town”.
The production process itself was a labor of love. The renowned London studios – RAK, Angel, and Abbey Road – provided the perfect environment for capturing the essence of these songs. The expertise and talent of producer Richard Flack were instrumental in bringing my vision to fruition. His attention to detail and passion for music truly shone through in the final product.
Collaborating with Guy Chambers, known for his exceptional work with Robbie Williams, was a dream come true. His musical prowess and ability to create infectious melodies added an extra layer of magic to the project. Together, we aimed to create a rendition that would resonate with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
The video shoot at Pinewood Studios was a grand affair. The iconic location, known for its association with James Bond films, provided a stunning backdrop.
