At the age of 16, Joey Calveiro is already making waves in the world of music as a saxophone prodigy. Born on March 27 in Miami Beach, Florida, Joey has Cuban blood running through his veins. His musical journey began in Nautilus Middle School, where he first fell in love with jazz and the saxophone.

Joey’s passion for music only grew stronger when he joined the Miami Arts Charter School. It was here that he started his musical career, playing with the jazz band MAC. Surrounded by a family of musicians, Joey had the perfect environment to nurture his talent. His grandfather, Fernando Calveiro, and his father, Jossel Calveiro, have been his greatest influences in the world of music.
