This is the latest single accompanied by a captivating video from the album ‘IT HAPPENS WHEN YOU LOOK THE OTHER WAY’. Danny began his professional music career as a teenager during the peak of The Golden Age of Rock. He co-founded the legendary London band the Heavy Metal Kids, which played a pivotal role in shaping the early Punk movement. Later, he joined the renowned rock group UFO as their original keyboardist, contributing to songs that significantly altered the band’s trajectory. His songwriting prowess led to multi-million-selling hits, including ‘Midnight at the Lost and Found’ for Meat Loaf, as well as tracks for David Gilmour and Sade.
Transitioning to a lead vocalist in the 1980s with his band Tarzen, Danny continued to evolve as an artist, releasing his debut solo album, ‘Make the Monkey Dance’. He also revived the Heavy Metal Kids for their critically acclaimed final album, ‘Hit the Right Button’, in the early 2000s. More recently, his project X-UFO produced both a live album and a studio release under the name House of X. Now based in vibrant Barcelona, Danny has recorded his new album, ‘It Happens When You Look the Other Way’, collaborating with the talented guitarist and producer David Pereira-Oleart, and featuring exceptional local musicians.
The album includes the already classic ballad ‘Heaven’s in A Chevy Tonight’, a song he originally penned for Meat Loaf, albeit four decades later. Danny is currently contemplating whether to release the hard-rock track ‘Down Down Down’, the Zeppelin-inspired ‘Run Away Rashid’, the Jimi tribute anthem ‘Upside Down’, the bluesy ‘A Different Kind of Blue’, or the New Orleans shuffle ‘When the Devil’s In’. Danny’s artistic vision knows no limits, and the complete album, IT HAPPENS WHEN YOU LOOK THE OTHER WAY, is now available on all major platforms.
