Hailing from the vibrant city of Szczecin, Poland, production duo Patryk Puszkiewicz and Michał Moskal are completely redefining Eastern European electronic music with their brilliant new project, Paper Moon. Acting as a fresh, modern Polish take on the classic French touch movement, Paper Moon seamlessly draws inspiration from the sun-drenched aesthetics of French house, nu-disco, and retro synthwave while keeping the overall composition perfectly relevant for modern global dancefloors. What makes this project truly special is that it wasn’t built on random singles; it was envisioned from its very inception as a complete, cohesive, and deeply interconnected album journey. The duo thrives on a beautiful artistic philosophy that looks back at nostalgia but never tries to replicate the past, utilizing warm analog aesthetics, pulsating basslines, and disco rhythms to build an entirely immersive sonic universe.

The Dual Debut: Cosmic Grooves vs. Instrumental Explosions
This grand musical vision officially boots up on September 4, 2026, with the simultaneous global release of two highly contrasting debut singles designed to show off the incredible breadth and technical mastery of their production style. The first single “Milky Way” is an emotional late-night invite into the atmospheric world of Paper Moon. The track combines classic French house grooves with the energy of the modern dancefloor and includes hypnotic, ethereal English vocals from acclaimed Polish singer OLENA. It’s a cosmic, nocturnal nu-disco masterpiece that immediately hooks you with its soaring melodic lines and infectious groove.
On the same day, Paper Moon will be releasing a mammoth, weighty sonic counterweight, “Supernova.” This is a full-on instrumental powerhouse that shows the raw, aggressive, and uncompromising side of the duo. Supernova is a bass-driven monster placed atop some very funky live guitar licks, sharp, syncopated samples, and heavy, driving syncopations. The cinematic middle section, however, is the heart of the piece, carefully constructed to resemble the stunning blast of a real supernova. “This chaotic high-energy release is a great artistic counterpoint to the more smooth, pop-tinged melodic passages found elsewhere throughout their upcoming catalog.”

Both tracks are a great foundation for the duo’s long-awaited debut, the Paper Moon LP, expected to drop in December of 2026. The album is meticulously designed as 13 individual tracks plus an atmospheric intro, promising to move seamlessly between peak-time club energy, indie pop sensibilities, and cinematic soundscapes. Kicking off Paper Moon is a series of exciting international guest appearances from vocalists such as Nathan Brumley and live organic instrumentation from guitarist Michał Stemplowski that will no doubt set the stage for one of the most exciting, genre-blurring electronic releases of the year.
