Nashville-based singer-songwriter Ava Claire has officially arrived with her striking debut EP, Honestly. Written entirely by Ava herself and produced by the brilliant Eric Arjes, the five-song collection serves as a breathtakingly intimate exploration of early adulthood, relationship guilt, and emotional evolution. The project beautifully showcases why Billboard recently spotlighted her in their A Look At The New Acts feature, celebrating her genre-blurring style as uniquely “sonically unpredictable.”
Ava’s journey into the heart of the music world began long before her college years at Belmont University. Writing songs since the age of eight and teaching herself guitar via YouTube, she made her formal MusicRow debut at Nashville’s iconic Bobby’s Idle Hour at just 11 years old. [1]
Since then, her immense talent has earned her a golden ticket to Hollywood Week on American Idol (landing three unanimous “yeses” from the judges) and a highly coveted slot as one of only 11 students nationwide selected for the prestigious GRAMMY Camp Songwriter Track. Today, she regularly graces the legendary stages of The Bluebird Cafe and The Listening Room Cafe, honing a craft heavily inspired by the vivid imagery of Jason Isbell and Phoebe Bridgers alongside the melodic instincts of Taylor Swift.
